Description

Machined from solid delrin and beautifully designed and manufactured. The Rolls Royce of pee valves. As well as being extremely robust it is low profile and “smooth” in shape so does not easily catch on other objects.

This option is only for the fitting of the valve to a new Seaskin drysuit.

Can be fitted in the two ways:

  • Choose valve position and mark suit.
  • Cut correct size hole in drysuit, 25mm for membrane suits, 16mm for neoprene suits.
  • Roughen up the top of the main body with glass paper.
  • Coat main body top with Stormsure (Ref: STO002-S15) or Aquasure.
  • Insert thread through hole in suit.
  • Orientate tubing to the desired direction (normally straight up)
  • Tighten down locking nut with 1.5 inch spanner (American!) or good adjustable holding the tube on the inside of the suit. Retighten a few days later if fitted to neoprene..
  • Leave to dry for at least 12 hours
  • This method allows the pee valve to be removed by peeling away from the Aquaseal.

Or:

  • Choose valve position and mark suit.
  • Draw around the valve patch to give you a guide for gluing
  • Roughen the rubber valve patch supplied with glass paperUse Neoprene Queen 30g (Ref: STO002-NQ) to glue patch to the outside of the suit. Use three coats and let dry between coats)
  • Leave to dry for at least 12 hours. Cut through the suit using the valve patch as your guide.
  • Insert thread through hole in suit.
  • Orientate tubing to the desired direction (normally straight up)
  • Lubricate valve patch with some silicon grease or a bit of saliva will do
  • Tighten down locking nut with 1.5 inch spanner (American!) or good adjustable holding the tube on the inside of the suit. Retighten a few days later if fitted to neoprene.
