With the ring fitted to the suit, the gloves are simply pushed on, an 0-ring keeping the water out.
Removal of the gloves being just as easy. Regular smears of silicon grease help keep the system quick and easy to use
Made from an extremly tough plastic when fitted with the showa gloves it give a very robust but simple to use solution to cold hands.
The whole lot can be removed from the suit in the summer when neoprene gloves can be worn
We recommend that a pair of fleece or neoprene glove be worn under the dryglove for insoluton.

Latex Seals and Cuff Ring Systems

All natural rubber latex that is used in latex diving seals will degrade over time and lead to seals needing to be replaced. This process is accelerated by some conditions, particularly exposure to the UV in sunlight, and ozone in the atmosphere. This breakdown is further accelorated when the latex is under continual tension. The introduction of tension into the latex is inherent in all of the cuff ring system for the fitting of drygloves. You must expect to have to replace your seals sooner if you have you glove rings of any type fitted. You can reduce the effect by taking apart the system of your suit during the seasons when drygloves are not required and by observing all of the normal good practices. Despite this disadvantage the combination of latex seals and a good ring system such as those offered by KWTT and SiTech give the best thermal protection in colder water/long run times.
